Poland Youth Exchange Project
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
Our youth exchange called ”Perspective of The Moment” will include young people who have fewer opportunities in terms of cultural, economic, and social differences, and are faced with unemployment. 6 different countries (Turkiye, Italy, Greece, Germany, Poland, Slovakia) which have highest, middle and lowest numbers on mental health will take place with 48 young people in our project.
Art plays a key role in self-identification and growth, serving as a lens to understand the world and communicate our thoughts. Photography, in particular, can raise awareness about migration policies and promote integration.
Art transcends linguistic and geographical boundaries, making it ideal for intercultural experiences.
The project uses an artistic process that allows individuals to express their visions and feelings through the art mediums of video, photography, drawing, dance. This creates a network of sharing between different people.
The main theme of our project is to increase the competence of young people in critical thinking on the issue of immigrants and refugees.
The project aims to support the common core values of the EU, by bringing together with young people with limited opportunities, increasing the quality of youth services for young immigrants, refugees, and marginalized young people.
Participants will have the opportunity to discover and explore similarities and differences between
cultures and it has developed a process of awareness and empathy about people who came from another country, about refugee issues.
Discover different opinions and point of view about contemporary social problems.
