SUMMARY:Turkey Training Course
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\nParticipants are being sought for the Turkey Training Course, which will take place between 14-18 October 2024 in Ankara !\n\n\n\n\nACTIVITY DESCRIPTION\nThe mass displacement of humans in the close regions created a unique challenge for Turkish organizations and authorities. This led to the creation of various effective practices that continue to support migrants at every stage —from entering a new country to establishing a new life.\nThis study visit explores how youth work addresses the challenges of supporting youth with refugee or migrant background.\nDuring the activity, we will learn from experts, visit local projects, and meet organizations working with refugees to observe and discuss innovative services and strategies developed in Türkiye.\nACCOMMODATION, MEALS AND TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS\nTurkish National Agency will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.\nTRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY\nTo develop knowledge and skills of participants in fields of: human rights, citizenship and education, democracy, voting, and youth participation.\nTo create an understanding of participants about the definition, importance and principles of decision-making, co-management and policy-making.\nTo develop and further improve the knowledge of participants about the Erasmus+ program, Youthpass, and recognition of learning through models of key competences.\n \nPARTICIPANT PROFILE\nThere will be approximately 35 participants from Programme and Partner countries who:\n\nare actively engaged in refugee youth work;\nare at least 18 years old;\nhave a keen interest in international cooperation focused on supporting refugee youth;\nare eager to deepen their understanding of refugee youth work and apply new insights in their practice;\npossess the potential to influence the development of refugee youth work in their communities or regions;\nhave a working knowledge of English, the official language of the activity;\nare committed to actively participating for the entire duration of the activity.\n\nProject Place: Ankara Turkey\nProject Date: 14/10/2024 –  18/10/2024\n\nApplication Deadline: 16/09/2024\nProject Owner: Turkish National Agency (Türkiye Ulusal Ajansı) (National Agency)\nCLICK HERE FOR DETAILED INFORMATION AND APPLICATION ( https://www.salto-youth.net/tools/european-training-calendar/training/study-visit-in-tuerkiye-refugee-youth-work.12636/ )\nNot: The project participant country and deadline may change with possible updates.\nThe project is excerpted and shared for dissemination purposes.
